Breathwork that settles the nervous system
Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari and Sheetali breathwork to activate the calming (parasympathetic) nervous system; gentle asanas; meditation; Yoga Nidra for deep rest.

Why breath comes before movement
Anxiety, panic and cravings all run through the same nervous system, and breath is the fastest way to reach it. Pranayama is taught first, because a person who can slow their own breathing has a tool they can use anywhere — in a craving, in a panic attack, in the middle of a sleepless night. Asanas come next, and they are gentle and restorative rather than athletic. The aim is not fitness. It is a nervous system that can return to calm on its own.
